When we think of World Oceans Day a lot if people worry about plastic pollution, not realising that about half or more of it is owed to the fishing industry.
But more importantly we must consider who these Oceans are for. They are habitats for marine life.
Approximately 3 trillion marine animals, (actually countless), are killed each year just for food – which is actually unsuitable for human consumption – because humans are not meant to eat animals at all. We are frugivorous or herbivore animals as per biological characteristics and morality.
Ocean dead zones, pollution and marine life extinction are hugely linked to animal products.
Animal exploitation is of no use to us all. They are linked to cancers, huge risks of diabetes, and cardiovascular ailments that kill us too, besides the planet through climate change. This is all explained in my new book Veganism: A Complete Guide downloadable free from this link and at lowest prices on amazon and kindle.
But before our death and of the planet, we already have these innocent individuals dying at our hands.
This video below reveals what fish go through unnecessarily.
